Redford Township Festivals will be hosting the Summer Festival 2024 in June. Mark your calendars and bring the whole family out! There will be a carnival, live music, face painting, and other entertainment. The fireworks display happens Friday night June 14th, 2024 at dusk in Bell Creek Park.
For over 25 years, the Redford Township Festival has been the unofficial kickoff to the summer season! Taking place the first full week in June, the annual event consists of a wide-range of activities for residents of all ages, including carnival rides, kids games, entertainment, and of course, FIREWORKS! Inside the Beer and Entertainment Tent, each night of the festival features a wide-range of bands and entertainment, in addition to adult beverages of your choice.
Opening Day of the festival always includes the annual challenge between the Redford Township Employees (firefighters, police officers, township hall, staff and more) vs the Redford Township Chamber of Commerce. This entertaining event has taken a variety of forms over the years, including that of a horseshoe tournament, a softball game, and this year, bag-o.
Saturday is always Kids Day, with bounce houses, face-painting, water balloon toss, and more kid-friendly themed games in mind. The highlight of the festival is the Fireworks Display on Friday night.
